 So, since all the other moms seem busy or hesitant, I will tell you what I would do with you, Maddie, if you had been VERY naughty.
First I would send you to your room and tell you take off your pants or skirt, stand in the corner and wait till I come to you. Giving you 20 or 30 minutes to worry and to consider what might happen. Then I open the door to check whether you have obeyed me and are a god girl standing in the corner, nose to the wall. If not, it would be a dozen quick smacks on your posterior, and corner time would run again.
When the time is up, I sit on your bed and call you to stand in front of me. Looking into your eyes and holding your hands, I will ask you to tell me what naughty things you did and why you did them. You are to stand straight and look at me while you report about your shameful behavior. Whenever I fell that you do not give me an honest and full account, I smack your thighs. Then we talk about the proper punishment for what you did. What do you think you deserve, Maddie? What will make you learn to do better next time?
