Hi Linzee, I think you're new here, so welcome. You'll like it here, we're not all monsters, and some even talk sense!

No, we were not a spanking family, so a telling off was usually enough. Likewise, I rarely spanked my children, my interest in it lay elsewhere. I don't think my sister wanted to get me into trouble, she just liked getting her own way, and having a bit of a strop unfortunately usually worked.

I do find it most unfair that you and your stepsister were treated so differently. Your mother and her father should have sorted that out before they got married. It should definitely have been both or neither as regards punishment.
