My twin brother sometimes has to watch my spanking,and I've to watch his,because our parents think that knowing what's going to happen if we misbehave the same way is a good deterrent...It is the case but not for a very long time,mainly a few days.

More rarely,we can be spanked in front of our cousin(s)/uncle/aunt,and they can be spanked in front of me,my brother and our parents,especially if someone misbehaves at a family meeting.

For example,if one of us had misbehaved at Easter,he/she would have probably been punished in front of the whole family.

One other exception,is if the punished one is in a serious relationship or engaged;in this case,the boyfriend/girlfriend/fiance(e) can have to watch the spanking of his/her loved one. Never happened to me,but one of my cousine has been spanked in front of her boyfriend.

We'll never be punished in front of friends,or in public.
