 I really hope that you decided to not spank your daughter over this. In this instance, I believe a spanking would be totally unwarrented. Your daughter did the right and honorable thing by standing up for her friend. True, she should not have got physical, but she did it for all the right reasons. You really should be proud of her for standing up for what she felt was right.

Dee is right to advise you to talk to her and to explain why her actions were wrong and to guide her for any future situation like it. But in this instance - this one time - I would never spank her for what she did. Megan
