 Not as you've told it but similar things have taken place where the girls stand up for one another when facing a bad situation and both have wound up getting it although not the intention at first. Carrying things to far does have it's consequences as they learned.
Was the oldest suddenly remorseful when she realized she was about to get it? That happened here earlier this summer when all of them got it. When it came her turn she apologized and said she didn't want to be spanked, pleaded not to be spanked and apologized even as her pants were going down.
