Ah! I have always wondered about a peachtree switch. Are they flexible? My childhood caregiver got them and she said they would bend but never break! Do they have nubbies that have to be removed? My pastor was from Fort Valley and he mentioned the peachtree switch more than once in sermons. He said we kids were lucky that they did not grow where we lived. However, a good friend had one in her front yard but her mom used a belt for spanking for some reason. Her dad somehow got it with a peachtree switch and said that it was so effective because the sting "stays with you" for a long time.

When will you feel the cane again?
