It was in 1965--so a long while ago--I recieved a scholarship to a small more conservative religious college. I was not of their faith---but that made no difference--As freshmen we lived in an all freshman male dorm--and a senior guy was the boss of the dorm--He was a good guy but he was strict as was the faith he belonged to--A friend and I went to a carnival soon ater arriving. it did serve beer but we did not drink--None the less,it was against the rules--and when we got home he told us we would both take a paddling all the guys on our floor heard him say it---He actually waited several days so I got more nervous as other guys told us how bad it would be--then one evening he just walked into the study lounge and told us it was time he paddled us---We followed him down the basement and in the furnace room we bared our butts and he paddled us both and it really did hurt---but I can not say it was abusive--it was like a football coach paddling--Every guy on our floor waited for us and we had to show our red butts at once--I followed the rules after that!! Younger readers will think it is unbleiveable that such a thing occured in college---but I assure you it did--It was a different world then
