I pass my days, ruminating, eyes fixed on the pool My noble friends, here rests the cenotaphs of an eternal love, tread softly. Hear the obedient Minarets calling out, “Mumtaz!” Union domes, emerald charbaghs, calligraphy on the pishtaqs echo her name I have to soothe them. Everyday. Time has formed it’s fungus on me, skin blackened with toxins, yet my fragrance haven’t died out. Feel the marbles, soft, moistened step gently.
