Drawing my life

I am an artist
and I am proud
of what I do,
I have a talent,
rare but
it is true.

With my hands,
I create
beautiful scenes,
With my heart,
I make them
come alive.

My soul soars
within the pages
of my art,
my spirit shines
with every mark
I make.

Even the mistakes,
that I know
I produce,
becomes a part
of the drawing,
a part of me.

No drawing
is ever perfect,
although I try
to make it so,
it's in the imperfection
that makes it real.

If you look
into my art,
you'll be looking
into my heart,
you'll see my soul
in every pencil mark.

I don't consider
myself a professional,
as some might say,
I am just an artist
doing what I love,
drawing my life.
