In the midnight
she doth bless me
as my ink
pours
to your page


you are
leather bound
and hungry


I am
dragons blood
and sage


in these hours
of ink words
dancing


there's an ache
that needs
be fed


so I bow
unto her passing
as I pour
until I'm bled
