I generally don't revise poems - feel they should capture the moment or a moment of reflection - but my muse is on vacation; so I thought I'd revisit this one. The Waiting Room I knelt to tie my shoe. Over and under, then pulled into a knot. One string folded in half – pinched into a little half bow - like those awareness ribbons.
