Winsome Winds

I share the wilderness with the wild
the wind of the winsome passing through
vague particles of cloud dust
that lay upon forgotten shores
as transparent as the smile upon your face
where the Zoo of your daily rituals
cages you as the crowds just pass on by
the forgotten practices of integrity and honor
thrown about your metalic floor
like lost vagrants soon to be swept up
in summer-winds and fast discarded

there is no such thing as a hollow moon
yet you pin prick its beauty from afar
as if it were some carnival baloon
once you raised your head to falling stars
then sighed in a poetic voice
that still lingers in my ears
when the night slips to lonely

I hear you softly say;

"I want you badly"

what you wanted was to touch me
to feel the same energy you once owned

in your sweet vortex the sun still rises
then sets in the ashes of your strange desires

Still, I've loved the times you've come.
