Sultry is My Name

I wear
the drift down
gentle of you,
falling warm
like rain,
melting insanities
to my core

Night falls long,
the language
lingers
heavy in autumn,
humid
in poetry,
a silken storm
of want

In the heat of you
I speak,
my tongue
pours fire
to sheath you
in succulent obsession
as you exhale
my name as flame

Then
you speak to me
~ that voice ~
you pour
so creamy smooth
down
my throat,
I could drink it all night

Naked,
but for the blush
of moon,
love falls soft
to the dark side
of dream,
where thunder rides hard
the ether tide
to lick the lovers’ sky
wide open

it’s where we live,
where we are sacred,
and where you call me
...sultry
