The Club of no Requital

there are vague nuances
they shiver the bone
when guilt comes calling
so fast denied

in the empty caverns of a hit parade

who dances on this stage?

two hundred years
plastic still LIES
on the sand below the sea
waving at rare fish passing by

I'll C U
in the adolescence of my poetry
the cracks in your disguise
will suck in sand wisped in winds
until you separate and fall

I am not the cumulus cloud
blocking your sun
I don't eclipse your beacon
as fear lights your way

You too would see the sun
If your mask did not hide your eyes.
