Aquatic

Aquatic dreams -
So peaceful it seems,
The waves so calm,
So lovely and serene,
The natural balm
Of the ocean air
As it caresses your face
With gentle care

Aquatic visions -
The water makes decisions,
And rocks the boat
With split second precision -
It has reason to gloat
Of its beauty and power
As it glistens under
The sun's violent glower

Aquatic nightmares -
Successful in scares,
It rages and rolls
As it rips and it tears,
Taking souls
To their watery graves,
Creating tombs
For lives that weren't saved.

Aquatic illusions -
A peaceful intrusion,
So silent and still
Is this sea's conclusion,
It gains strength at will,
A mirage it may weave,
It can appear as a haven
But the ocean deceives.
