Journey with me

Come,
journey
into my world,
walk through the doors
of the coffee shop
and sit with me,
better yet,
sit beside me,
close to my heart.

I'll share with you
my soul,
we'll talk
about
everything
and nothing
at all,
but
most
importantly,
we'll smile.

I might
be drawing
but that's okay,
I'll gladly
set my pencil
aside,
for you
I'll do
anything,
for I would love
nothing more
than to just
sit with you
and be with you
in this moment,
today.

I know
the time will come
when we will
have to part,
but for now
let's just
enjoy
each other's
company
and look forward
to the next time
our hearts
journey
upon the
same path,
when our souls
fly into
each other's
world
where words
and art
beautifully
collide.

Now come,
journey
into my soul,
sit with me,
better yet,
sit beside me,
close to my heart.
