. I .
WASHINGTON D.C. In the year 2006, the U.S. government decided that they could use a little extra protection. With the FBI and the CIA virtually in shambles, the president and a few highly regarded officials began a new program. The needed something that would be safe if the CIA and the FBI turned corrupt, and it needed to be able to pass under the radar of the mass media and any spies of other nations. The UAA [United Agents Anonymous] was the ultimate product of that decision. It ran like the CIA, only no one knew about it. The head quarters, they decided, would be under the disguise of a highly regarded law-firm; already established in town.
. II .
While plans were underway to renovate the law-firm, so that part of it could run as a secret organization without interferring with the booming business that it had aquired, the president was personally interveiwing people for the head of the organization. His search was based on past military records; which didn't have to be valiant, only clean and respectable. He found what he needed in Develin Hobbs. The half Italian-half American two star general. Develin had been out of the army for some time, and thats what made him so appealing, he had nothing to do at all with the Iraqi conflict, and so his subordinates would have no problem in obeying orders. Tracking him down once he had been selected, was easier said than done.
. III .
The phone wrang in a small apartment in the outskirts of Rome. Develin wasn't happy that he had to remove himself from his bed that he shared with two women, at fifty-five, he was supposed to be enjoying retirement. He didn't get phonecalls, especially from the United States Government. The next day, he was back in Washington D.C. Getting debreifed on procedures and protocall. After a series of blood tests, a lie detector test was given to make sure he hadn't served as a double agent over the past ten years. He was given strict orders.... 1) Assimilate yourself into the streets of suburban D.C. immediately. 2) Start a family under your own risk.
3) Do not under any circumstances tell anyone of your employment. The last one was a mild no brainer...but they did have to be careful.

2007 After a year on the job, the UAA had grown to something of considerable size, recruiting the most brilliant minds to work there. It was the perfect plan. The law-firm was booming, and the missions had gone on without too many casualties. Develin had abided by the loose rules as best as he could. He had even gotten married, more to fit in with the mold of suburbia than for love. Then, while sitting in his office, his secretary informed him that there was a woman at the entrance of the building demanding to see him. Develin thought nothing of it, he got many pleas to represent people every day. In broken English and rapid Italian, the woman told him that she was sick and that the small baby in her arms was Develin's son. Refusing to believe her, he quickly ran confidential paternity tests. Sure enough, the mistake was his. He reluctantly took the child in when the woman was rushed to the ER later that week, to die four days later. He made his wife believe that he had adopted the child while on a mission, and the older couple raised the boy. They named him Trenton.
. V .
Trenton (or Trent as his parents called him when they weren't angry with him) Grew up in the lap of luxury. Some of it got to his head, under the impression that his father was a great lawyer. On his 12 birthday, he was taken from his bed to the lower levels of the law-firm, where he was informed of his greater purpose in life. His adopted mother was under the assumption that he was at bording school, and once Develin was sure that Trent could keep the secret, he allowed his son to visit home for short periods of time. At the UAA he was educted on basic schooling, what he needed to pass the exam to become a lawyer, along with all that it took to be an agent. By 18, he was on missions. Six Years later however, his father passed away. His mother was heart-broken, and Trent assumed his father's role in the UAA and law-firm without any question. At 24, he was the youngest and most powerful agent in the agency.
