I really dont think anyone is complaining. We just need to know what the rules are, maybe you can clarify the 60 percent rule for any of us that dont understand that 6 out of 10 games is what is required by the league. What are legit excuses. Dave is not the only one and maybe some other teams might be able to twist the, as you put it"stupid ass rule " to help their teams . Perhaps have injured players and add 2-3 or even 4 players to a roster well into the season. This is a fun Recreational league but alot of time and money goes into this and every team should be on the same level as each other. If the door is open for one it is open for all. Personally I dont like this rule for the simple fact that we were not notified of it untill after the 2nd week into the season and some players cannot make it each week and are only able to play in limited games. In this day of single fathers and joint custody of chidren some players are having to make the right choices only to be penalized for being good fathers.
