Dark brown eyes flicker from one spot to another, hoping to find a place to rest. A sigh escapes her maw. She was tired, always tired lately. She liked the war-she was a fighter, a killer. She thrived on fear, the fear of others. But it was tiring. Her flank glistens with persperation. A single drop of sweat rolls down her lovely face. Alert ooids still look around. She halts, head held high. Her body was tense. Her auds were pricked and attentive. She scented another-an equine, yes. But was the equid of light or dark heritage? One could never be sure.
