I meant to say Joan Howard Maurer, as she was married to Norman Maurer from 1947 until his death in 1986.

Norman Maurer produced and co-wrote several Stooges films, and directed The Three Stooges Go Around the World in a Daze (1963) and The Outlaws in Coming (1965).
