Subject: Shivering Sherlocks (1948)

Larry, Moe and Shemp are cafe employees who are mistaken for armored car robbers.

The clam chowder sequence has Moe trying to figure out who the cracker swiper is around here!

Vernon Dent is a gruff police captain who gives the Stooges a lie detector test, but fails to pass it himself!

Christine McIntyre is a good gal in this one, but would soon return as a villainess in Who Done It? (1949).

Duke York is Angel, a hatchet-wielding hunchback with the gang that pulled the armored car heist! York would soon be back as Nikko the Goon in Who Done It?
