It's good to see the last of the Stooges Columbia shorts finally out on DVD. Although Curly is my favorite Stooge, there are some real gems among the Shemp years, and the Joe Besser era is underrated.

Outer Space Jitters is a particular favorite, featuring future Bonanza star Dan Blocker.

Pies and Guys is a nice scene for scene remake of Half Wits Holiday, which itself was inspired by Hoi Polloi.

Moe does a nice job as a nervous nellie in Guns-A-Poppin', a remake of Idiots Deluxe. I get a good chuckle when the bear drives away in the convertible, giving a left turn hand signal as he does!
