A Bird in the Head (1946)
Curly's brain is just the right size to fit into the head of Igor the Gorilla. Igor goes nuts with a Tommy gun, but he and Curly eventually make friends. Vernon Dent is Professor Panzer.

Spooks (1953)
An excellent scary short from the Shemp years. You can't get much scarier than that Shemp-faced bat! Originally released in 3-D, which explains the unusual camera shots of stuff flying directly at the viewer. Another gorilla and another mad scientist, this time Dr Jeckyl played by Phil Van Zandt.

Outer Space Jitters (1957)
Larry, Moe and Joe and their boss Professor Jones (Emil Sitka) land on the planet Sunev (Venus spelled backwards) where they meet the Grand Zilch of Sunev (Gene Roth) and three beautiful girls. This one is of special interest to Bonanza fans because of Dan Blocker's role as the "Goon", a prehistoric zombie controlled by the Sunevians. They plan to conquer the Earth with an army of these zombies, but of course the Stooges save the day. Blocker has no lines, but does a nice job with his movements and some grunting and snorting. His makeup includes sharp teeth, a broad nose, big ears and bushy eyebrows. Blocker looks huge standing behind Moe Howard, who was a short man.

"Spook Louder" with a post-FG Charles Middleton as the servant/bodyguard and Ted Lorch as Professor Graves. Notice the role reversal of master and servant, as opposed to their characters in Flash Gordon (1936).
