Subject: Yes, We Have No Bonanza (1939)

One of several western-themed Stooges shorts. Twenty years later a famous television western series would bear the title of Bonanza. But not before future "Hoss" Dan Blocker dropped by for a few "Outer Space Jitters".

We see Curly riding into his job at the saloon, galloping along like a real cowboy...sort of.

The Stooges sing! First it's Larry and Moe, then Curly too.

The three pretty chorus girls at the saloon also sing, and the Stooges would like to marry them.

The boys hit the trail in search of gold, and are surprised to find it already in coins, and even in gold bonds! Curly's response? "Ain't nature wonderful?"

During the prospecting dig Moe's pick ax is turned into a curly pick ax, thanks to Curly's head.

The gold jackpot the boys dig up is actually stolen money that their crooked boss Jack, the saloon owner, buried there.

In the hilarious climax the bad guys try to escape in a car, but are chased down by the boys on a cigar store horse!

"Yes, we have no bonanzas!"
"But we got plenty of bricks!"
