Your best bet is to apply at several golf courses and explain your situation. Fortunately for you, golf courses are looking for career minded individuals like yourself. I know because I am a GM at a golf course. You'll start at the bottom, but should move up quickly. While working at a course, there are educational seminars that the superintendant can enroll you in to expand your education. It might take you 3-4 years to learn enough to move on. Also join the GCSAA, an organization for golf course superintendant's. Good luck!
