Hunter Lee Powell was born on 07/10/08 at just 26 weeks. He weighed 1lb 9oz and was 12in long. He is in the NICU at Baton Rouge General on Blue Bonnet in Baton Rouge. The valve in his heart that's supposed to close did not close at birth and has not responded to the medications. They may have to do surgery. I will know more about that in a couple days. He is looking at the next 3 months in the hospital as long as there are no set backs. He is now on 21% oxygen. There were no brain bleeds so far,therefore increasing his chances of recovering healthy!

A Benefit Pageant For:

Hunter Lee Powell




Hunter was born at just 26 weeks. He is in the NICU at Baton Rouge General in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Dr's are looking for him to remain in the hospital for the next 3 months as long as there are no set backs. He is now on 21% oxygen. There are no brain bleeds so far, therefore increasing his chances of a healty recovery.

We all know how stressful times like this can be and the worry of finances should not be added to the stress of his parents. Baby Hunter also has 2 older siblings as well. In an effort to help the family We (The pageant community) have decided to come together in different ways with the ultimate goal of helping baby Hunter and his family in their time of need.

We would also like to ask for lots of prayers for this precious baby! If you would like to make a donation in any way, you can also look below for information on how to do that. Thank You for taking the time to read this... God Bless!
