3. Diabetic or Supporter? Diabetic

4. What type diabetes? Type I

5. How long diagnosed? Since I was 10 (48 years)

6. How is your diabetes controlled?

pills___Shots__x___diet__x___

7. What medications do you take for Diabetes? Lantus insulin each morning and then Novolog at each meal according to amount of carbs eaten and blood sugar reading. That's one shot in the AM along with a shot and a finger stick each meal - it's a wonder I don't leak.

8. Any family diabetics as well? No

9. What testing meter do you use? Freestyle

10. Do you recieve other help besides MD? (ex. dietician, diabetes educator, endocrinologist) Endo doctor and his staff educator

11. What will make this board best for you? Sharing the good times and the bad - just knowing we are not alone but IN CONTROL!!!
