I know if im stressed or sick, my glucose levels sky rocket, for some reason. But also, when they go high like that, its nothin for them to suddenly fall.
My worst experience....thank God, im still around, probably wouldnt be, if it wasnt for my dog. One afternoon I was outside....all of the sudden, i got sweaty and very very shaky and, i couldnt see anything. This was like at 1 in the afternoon....apparently my irish setter sensed somethin was wrong, and let me grab ahold of him, cuz i was about to pass out. He got me in the house, and by this time i was crawlin and i got to the refrigerator. after about 30 min. i was able to move after drinkin orange juice, when i tested my glucose, it was 30. It scared me to death cuz my husband wouldnt of gotten home till 7 or after that evenning...and i imagine, it would of been to late for me then. So my dog is my hero. Also hubby has had to test me several times, cuz he wouldnt wake me up. Anyone else have these troubles to?
Have you ever tried the brown sugar with splenda? Its really good to bake cookies with.

OMG Ladonna,What a frightening experience. Your pooch really is a guardian angel! What is his name? just curious.I have never gone too low.Just way way too high. Either way, it is not nice lol.I used the splenda brown sugar in cookies for Xmas, but I use it now in my Oatmeal. It is pretty intense, so you just need a tiny bit.For regular recipes substitute half of the brown sugar splenda. Thanks so much for sharing Ladonna.Hugs,Dutchie
