Subject: Dave Day 2005 and 2006

I had the pleasure of playing drums for Dave once in 2005, at the Interchange in Kent. He was brought there by a mutual friend and he sat in with my band. Tambourine Irene was onstage too.

Then in 2007 Dave was brought by same mutual friend to Smarty Pants bar in Georgetown, Seattle, Halloween 2006 to play before us, a fun little set for him. He was playing the guitar really hard so I jumped up and started thwacking out a beat. Not gonna lie to ya, Dave was pretty hammered drunk that night. Ran over mutual friend's foot. Great guy and glad I got to not only meet him but play with him. I've been watching Youtube vids of the Monks from Germany back in the day and also their reunion tour(s) of recent. Wish I would have gone to one of those shows.
