Thanks for your reply Eddie.
I started some research to find out if someboy can remember the time Dave was here in bavaria. And guess what I found out. My father and my uncle can remember the times and the bar which was managed by Dave. It is in my hometown, named Schwebheim, just a few miles away from Schweinfurt. A town with 4000 people living her at he moment (at Dave's time it might have been 2000). And to my great surprise...the bar is now owned by my uncle, who was a regular guest there in the past days. So it still exists....you can see the world is very small:-)
