Subject: Please Unkill Me

Sorry to have to clog this list with this sort of entreaty, but, y'know.....

Apparently someone who had my name in their address book fell victim to the latest Fad Virus that was going around, and I'm getting all kinds of MAILER-DAEMON returned e-mails originally sent to bad addresses. I didn't send 'em in the first place, of course. But a lot of them are spam, of course, and a lot of those are the delightful subset of spam that contain words like "peniz" and "vgragra."

Big deal, right? Well, in this day 'n' age, actually, it IS a big deal. People's spam filters are catching my address and adding it to their local list of blocked e-mail names. Several times in the last few days I've tried to mail someone, only to have my mail instantly returned with the message: "This is an auto-responder. I'll never see your message." In fact, one of 'em was Monks Webmasterlady Jamie, which leads me to believe that the original infection may have come from one of y'all.

This is a nightmare personally as well as business-wise: as this thing burgeons, I'm finding that my eBay customers are never getting my emails either.

So, anyways...those of you that see this plea on the message board, please check your spam-folder's List Of Forbidden Swine and make sure I'm not in it. I am, and remain as always, your very own Permissible Swine.
