Subject: Charles Wilp - one of the mentors of the monks

Another man, as close to the monks as anyone could ever be, has passed away. Charles Wilp, claimed by some to be the Andy Warhol of Germany, but in truth much, much more than that, has passed on to the endless zone of microgravity, while sleeping in the arms of his wife, Ingrid.

He is the man who took many of those fabulous monk photos. He was a very gracious and kind man, full of enthusiasm and encouragement. His list of accomplishments are many. The list of people who love him are many.

He was one of my very very favorite people. He said that he had hoped to see us in Spain, but then his work underground at the space headquarters in Montana kept him from being there with us in Benidorm. No matter, he told me on the phone that he watched us perform, from his commander’s chair, in the underground headquarters, under the starry Montana sky. I visited him last year in Dusseldorf and when he made me laugh, which was often, I always had to just say it, "Charles, I love you." And I meant it and still mean it. I will miss him, but then as a comfort to me, and anyone else who had the pleasure of knowing him - I know that he's out there taking care of things. I will keep my eyes on the sky watching for him. He made me aware of all that angel sperm out there and I have seen it. Through him I have become more aware of forces that are - out there in space. I think he gave me a list of things to do and I will do them. One thing I know for sure - he contributed to a very powerful feeling of love on this planet.
