Hondureña es Miss América Latina 2015

Aunque este certamen no goza del prestigio y la fama de antaño: TRIUNFO ES TRIUNFO! Y asi se vió la hondureña: Karla Monje, al ser coronada la reina, la gran ganadora, aunque Karla representó en esta ocasión a los Estados Unidos de América, de donde es ciudadana, por eso no deja de ser un orgullo Catracho.

Este certamen se efectuó en México

Karla Monje, Miss Latina United States Latina, was crowned Miss America Latina del Mundo 2015 (or Miss Latin America of the World 2015) at the conclusion of the finals, held in at Barcelo Maya Beach Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, on September 12th.

The native from Honduras lives actually in Texas. “My mother is Mexican and my dad is Honduran, I have dual nationality. I was born in El Progreso, they took me to Texas at 2 weeks old, returning to my native Honduras every summer,” she said in a previous interview to magazine Friend

She began to compete in pageantry world for five years, in the last four won the Miss Texas US International 2011, Miss RGV Watermelon Queen 2011, Miss Texas American Beauty 2012, Miss American Beauty 2012, Our Model McAllen 2013 and Miss Southern States 2013 and Miss Belleza Latina International 2014.

Karla Monk was a finalist in the Miss Universe Honduras in 2013, and having won several crowns abroad, the obvious question: Would not you be Miss Universe? “For right now I’m focused on winning Miss America Latina del Mundo. If I become the spokesman for the Latin beauty world, I would like to finish my year and then meditate if I want to participate in the Miss Universe. ”
