Por segunda vez en la historia de este concurso:
Surafricana es la nueva Miss Mundo


Rolene Strauss una estudiante de medicina se convirtió en la segunda sudafricana en ser coronada como Miss Mundo y la tercera en poseer el título. Participaron 121 países y territorios y el certamen fue transmitido por LBC (London Broadcasting Corporation) a Argelia, Palestina, Iran, Irak y Cuba; aunque dichos países no enviaron representantes.

Miss World 2014, the 64th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on December 14, 2014 at ExCeL London in London, UK. Megan Young of the Philippines crowned her successor Rolene Strauss of South Africa at the end of the event. 121 contestants competed for the crown. This is the second time that South Africa has won the title outright and the third time they have held the title.

La bellísima Miss Méjico: siempre fue una gran favorita. Clasificó en el Top 10.
