Un sábado 17 de junio, en Tegucigalpa, fue coronada Miss Honduras 1972, a la esbelta joven de bella piel: Doris Alicia Roca Pagán, representante de San Pedro Sula. Doris contaba 19 años de edad y tenía medidas perfectas: 36-23-36. En la gráfica vemos a la nueva reina nacional, emocionada, recibe la corona de manos de la sucesora: Dunia Araceli Ortega. Observa la escena una feliz y bella Miss La Lima: Doris VanTuyl.
