Subject: Let the Voting Begin - Florida U.S. Pageants

Let the Voting Begin …

Beginning today (4/25) through 5/1, you can cast your “virtual vote” once per day per computer for the delegate of your choice for the 2008 Florida U.S. Pageants. Go to our website: www.floridauspageants.com and click the word “delegate” beneath each of our reigning queens. You will then be able to view each of the delegates in each division and then click the “vote” button @ the bottom of the screen. Once your vote has been cast, you will see the stats on who is in the lead, etc. via a pop-up window.

After you close that window, you can go “back” to our main page and click on another division and vote for someone in that group. YES, you can vote five times, but only one vote per division per day!

Each division’s winner will receive recognition at the conclusion of our pageant (AFTER all the judges scores have been turned in, so this contest has no bearing on the outcome of our state pageant) and the HIGHEST OVERALL VOTE GETTER from our internet vote will receive a $1,200 garnet and tanzanite ring set in sterling. It is beautiful and will be a reward for the delegate who “gets the vote out”!

Vote once, or vote daily – but make every vote count!

NOTE for AOL Users:
We've had some questions re: problems with internet voting - checked with webmaster who advised it is AOL users only ... here is some info for you:

"The problem with verification codes is AOL specific.
Just minimize the AOL browser and use Internet Explorer
and it pick up and register the verification code correctly. A mom of one of our Jr. Teens had this problem earlier and I was able to isolate it and find the work around.

AOL sometimes does things their own way which is at odds
with the rest of the internet community. Apparently
their branded browser cannot do the verification stuff correctly."
