I did not see your message til now. I too get my bare butt paddled by my wife though it is infrequent---We both seem to know when a paddling has to settle things---so there is no disagreement--it hurts plenty--but afterward no lingering anger or any harsh feelings things are good between us--She had to vent her anger and I had to make things right so to speak---No one else knows so no matter of any shame or embarrassment---MY BUTT REALLY HURTS
