Most of the spankings I got as a boy, had quite a number of the features that you list. My parents did not impose "corner time" although I did experience corner time on some occasions when adults other than my parents spanked me. Also, I only rarely experienced "spanking down the hall" because my parents usually sent me to my
room or my parents' room to await my punishment. It did happen a few times with my mother smacking my butt all the way up the stairs to her room where, ultimately, she would apply the hairbrush to my bare behind. My mother's spankings tended to be more in the moment than those of my father and were,therefore, less predictable as to how they would proceed.
My father's spankings were more coreographed and usually followed a predictable pattern. Part of that pattern was me being sent to my room to contemplate my wrong doing and await the justice of the belt. My mother, on the other hand, tended to spank more emotionally. At times she would drag me to her room to spank me with the hairbrush. In other instances,
she would turn me over her knee and spank me immediately upon discovering some misadventure in which I had involved myself without worrying about getting the hairbrush. Other times, she would send me to
her room to retrieve the hairbrush and bring it back to her. She would, then, spank me in the living room, dining room or the kitchen, wherever she was. The two certainties with both of my parents was that the spanking would be
on my bare behind and that I would be spanked well past crying. My parents felt that a spanking should be memorably unpleasant and that meant a stinging,burning,fiery red fanny, for me when it was over.
