hello all!

first i would like to say WOW! the vic show was INCREDIBLE!!! sooooooo much fun!! the energy was just amazing and it was so cool to see hello dave in chicago! my first time :o) extra extra special bonus of THE NADAS!!! and anne and billy hawwwwwwwn!!!

guess what? its happening AGAIN!!! hello dave and the nadas are playing TOGETHER again!! (my dream come true) JUNE 1st CLUB SODA KALAMAZOO. i think it would be sooooo great if a bunch of people made a road trip to kzoo for this show. it is sure to be awesome and great great fun!and outside!!! and a birthday party for many. well worth any drive you might have to make. come and support these guys in michigan so they'll keep coming back here and making me/us HAPPY!!! wooot woo wooot wooo :O)

May I say that the popularity of Hello Dave just keeps on rising!! From the Video before the show which ran into the first song "Summertime" to "The Big Al Wetsel" song, Magoo and his screaming guitar, lots of laughs with a certain someone with a certain appendage showing up on stage and finally the grand finale with "NOT The Illini Drumming Chore" was the best darn thing I've seen in a long time. That night with the drumming chore reminded me of Fleetwood Mac with the use of a drumming chore on their song "Tusk" !!!
GOOD JOB HELLO DAVE!!! EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE!!
May I also say it was nice to see Jason and Mike from the Nadas play it up early in the evening!! Great performance!!

just letting you know i had a great time friday night at RIBCO...its so nice to be having shows outside again...and i turned 5 more friends on to you guys they all had a blast.
by the way i met a couple of you during your set break...i gave you a CD of my band Wicked Liz and the Bellyswirls...hope you had a chance to listen to it and enjoy it...hopefully we can hook up sometime .

The show at the VIC last night was truly amazing. Being a graduate from U of I, I thought the drummers from the marching band was especially a nice touch. GO ILLINI GO!!! Seeing both you and Domestic Problems at the Cubby Bear later in the evening was also a treat. Good luck tonight at RIBCO in Rock Island, as that is my home town and the Mississippi is not being so friendly right now.

WHAT A FREAKING SHOW! As usual a good time...but this one..was extra special. You guys just put on a great damn show. When you have good music, good musicians and a stage..you get a good time...but when those 3 things can mold into one...THEN YOU GET A SHOW! OH yeah..and a FREAKING MARCHING BAND ON STAGE??????? I was wondering, since Hello Dave is playing with The Nadas a couple of times this month, IF the Band Olympics are going to take place. Winner taking the RV, good timing since i heard HD's RV died. What are the events going to be? and Who is going to partake? r they going to happen or did Hello Dave come to their senses and back out? Just wondering ...

Ive always been loyal to the Nadas, but I saw Hello Dave for the first time in Iowa City last weekend, and they kicked ass. Magoo brang it all to the table and really ripped it, overall just an amazing show. HD needs to make stops in Iowa more often!

Hi, I have seen the band perform since college and a couple of times here in Nashville and saw that they were going to be here in a couple of weeks. I would really like to see them but see that it is a private party. Are they performing anywhere else while in town or planning to come back in the summer?

Hello Dave plays at Loras College in Dubuque on Friday. I'm a professor here and have boasted about the band for years.

Looking forward to seeing you. It's been a long time since Marty's and "Closer to Fine." Some of my siblings are making their first trip to visit me in honor of the event. Talk about groupies!!!

Folks,

I am getting married next week down in Texas, and the woman and I are using Road Song as our first dance song. I was wondering if we are the first to do this? If so, then cool; we can put it in the wedding scrap book that we are unique to any other couple. If I just could have swung a honeymoon to Bimini...

Speaking of the little woman, she was floored when yall played The Road Goes on Forever at Taste of Lincoln Park last summer, as it brought back some old times for her. She went to Texas A&M, and there is a fellow alumnus of that fine institution named Robert Earl Keen. He still plays there, and is a big favorite among students; they consider him to be a local thing down there, and that nobody outside the state of Texas ever heard of him.

Hi Everyone!
Check it out. A few of us are heading to the Bahamas for Spring Break. We are taking my boat, and stopping for fuel in -you guessed it, Bimini! It is a little out of the way, but I just have to stop for a picture. (Don't worry Olson-I'll get doubles) I already packed 1 canteen and 3 cans of tuna, still looking for that Senorita with the rose in her hair though. I'll give you all an update once back in Chicago.

The Lawrence, KS / KC, MO area could sure use a visit from ol' HD. Used to get to see HD in Memphis every so often, now I'm Jones'n in KS. The Bottleneck in Lawrence is a lot of fun and it's a great college town. Of course, KC has plenty of venues. So when can I tell people you guys will be here?

Last night was a great show at the Club Soda in K-zoo. I had a blast.....and it was so cool that some of the DP guys showed up too. If you weren't there you missed an awesome show! I wish that you guys in HD would play K-zoo more often.......cause it is always a great show when you do.

I had such a blast in Keystone last week! Probably one of my favorite shows! (Thanks for the dance, Brad!) I made friends with at least 10 HD fans! And made some fans of my own, too! I can't wait to see you guys this weekend at the Stadium, I'm bringing my little brother, his buddy and possibly my older brother! It should be a blast! So many Fineman's, so little room to dance! :)

welcome back , glad the board is back up & working again, it'll save me sending a long mail to Peggy to ask what was happening, although it's been awhile since i've written , perhaps i'd better start now!!!

Anyone out there have any stories , reviews on the L.A show, this Hello Dave fan across the pond would love to hear about it.

That's it , for now, hope eveyone is doing good & having fun. 2 weeks & i'll be crossing the pond to Charleston & Montreal, if anyone is in the neighbourhood & wants to share a drink or 7 , mail me.
