I REMEMBER LEAVING PRACTICE EARLY JUST TO SEE THE PAGEANT BACK IN 1988. WELL, IT'S NOW 2010, AND THE NEW MISS UNIVERSE IS XIMENA NAVARETTE OF MEXICO. IT;S BEEN 19RS. SINCE LUPITA JONES(MEX. WON THE TITLE FOR MEXICO FOR THE FIRST TIME (CIRCA 1991) CONGATULATIONS MEXICO, AND XIMENA NAVARETTE.
