*....her breathing grows heavy and labored as the ebony mare lays down among the shelter of the trees. Dark hide glistening with sweat, she picks up her head to look at her side. Laying her head back down with a grunt of pain, she gives a push. Panting with the effort of it, she continues to push the foal out. A tiny foal is soon on the ground. It is an all black colt, with only a small white mark on his forehead. Exhausted, the mare stands to allow the foal to nurse. As he suckles, she licks him clean.* "You, my little one, will be named Constellation... You look much like your father. He is very handsome..." *The little colt looks up at her with wide eyes, taking in this bright new world. Raising her head, she whickers for Zodiac to come. She nudges the little foal, urging him back towards the her. She is exhausted, but a proud look gleams in her eyes.... her first foal has been born. She is a mother!*
