Since when did the Cheetahs ever draw 90,000 people?

Never Ray -- the article was not exactly filled with "truths" - try the National Enquirer for real stories!

What a great article. Nice to see positive things being written in hopes for a wonderful 2003 season. It did say a lot of people flocked to games, it also said 10 rookies and 8 positions open, what are these spots that are considered "open" for the year? Roster looks solid.

James,

As far as open roster spots, we have a lot of rookies coming in, and Mike Moore has seen very few of them play. So, as with all other players, they have to prove themselves in camp. Some of them had great stats in college or in other places, but until you see how they fit in with the Cheetahs, it's hard to say what spots are set and what spots aren't.

You are right, though - overall, the roster looks very good. It'll be nice to see these guys start camp on May 9.

Chuck
