I was sorry to see that the July 1 game is sold out, since I'm not one of the people that have tickets. I love going to weekday Cheetah games - take a half day off work, go pick up the daughter and go to the game. Why don't the Cheetahs do more of them? There are only 2 this year and one is sold out, the only sellout thus far. It seems that people will go to the games on a weekday (or is it all groups?), why not make it 4 or 5 instead of 2?

Ian,

There's a lot that goes into what time to have the games - the travel schedule, things like that. Looking back, we probably should have had more day games, and in future years we'll look at adding more. The bulk of the July 1 crowd is day care groups, the staff did a great job of targeting those groups and sold out a Tuesday noon game, not an easy accomplishment.

Please do come out on June 4, and remember we do have 8 Sunday day games.

Chuck

Ian, you can always check out the best minor league baseball team in the Chicagoland if you are looking for weekday baseball, the Kane County Cougars, it has been my experience traveling the country at both the minor and major league levels, that they have the best to offer both on-field (with the team)and off the field (with the great giveaways and promotions), they have blazed the path of which most other minor league teams follow. The Kane County club has 3 noon starts in May, one in July and one in August I believe. Well worth the ride whereever one lives.
