Re: NATIONALS 2009 - Thanks for the opportunity to comment - The Arena once it's fully refurbished will be a great venue.Granted it isn't a convention centre, but it will be perfectly fine and I am sure that the AIDA Vic members full researched all the available options in Melbourne before settling on this venue. I for one am really pleased that it will be held in Victoria again and doubly pleased that it's in Geelong

I would hope everyone would refrain from knocking Geelong.Nothing wrong with Geelong. However i can not believe anyone could honestly see the Arena as a venue or more seriously a location for The nationals to be held.However if you would like your car resprayed or a bit of panel beating done then you'll be spoiled for choice.If Geelong, why not Costa Hall at Deakin University.As for accomodation ask the question, how many 4Star Hotels in Geelong ? Three may be four at most.Could be Wrong!
