hey I never posted here before but I got here from a link that talked about maybe theres going to be a TV series of fearless. I am reading the fearless series, and waiting for the next book, Escape #26 to come out. But anyway about the TV thing, ThAT WoULD bE SO AWSOME!!!! Email me if you have any info on that. ^_^

You know? I always felt like I was the only one who read this series- I guess b/c none of my friends do. I am glad to know that alot of more people do. I wonder how many guys would read them- and get into them?? oh well!! :) I love it(and I love how every book leaves you hangin')- there is so much detail and I hope the tv series has just as much- hopefully!!!! Anyways anyone who just wants to write and talk about Fearless or anything, (I love the books so I would like to make some new friends who read them too) just e-mail me at shanna13@aol.com

No, Cory, you are not the youngest reader. I'm thirteen also and started reading Fearless when they had just came out. I'm pretty sure that was 1998, so that means that I was... 9 when I started reading them. Wow! So, anyway, don't worry. You're not alone.

i started reading the series in 7th grade...sophomore now...i was 12 when the first book came out. you're not that young lol. i'm sure i'll be disappointed by the fearless tv show. no way can it measure up to the book. the girl will wear too much makeup, her hair will be combed, she'll be too short, she won't be able to act, she won't look angry enough, something. they'll probably change the storyline or focus on her relationship with her dad too much or something, when it's supposed to be about HER journey. or sam will have gel in his hair. blah.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't help but notice.In The two "messages" below this both girls said and age. 16 and 20. I'm 13. Just a question, but am I the youngest one reading the books on this site? I found them kind by accident and liked the first one.

See, usually I would only read the books that were going round and you can almost never get a hold of (Ella Enchanted in 5th grade). I had just finished the 28-book series Making-Out and had NOTHING to read for the next month of the summer. I bought some books, but reading almost 7 bopoks a week (because I have no life) left me with a lot of books to get. Suddenly every book that looked good was read. All that was left was Fearless.

I had read the backs of all the books (up to 22 and SE at the time) and they looked okay. So I buy the first one. Loved it!!!!! So I bought them all and have been reading them sence the first day of school. Now this is a dissapointment to me because I can read 28+ books in a month and it's taken me 3 to get to 23 and the SE?? I guess school had a part in it...

Anyway... I know this is a teen book series and I am technicaly a teen... but am I still the youngest one to be reading them on this site?

hey everyone :). (answers to Lindsey, will blow out 16 candles on sept 6) i did some searching and learned that the wb WILL be officially creating a tv show based on this series. here's the message:

Another superhero could be headed to the WB, this one courtesy of executive producer Jerry Bruckheimer, the man behind the "CSI" franchise.The WB -- already home to heroic series "Smallville," "Birds of Prey" and "Angel" -- is developing "Fearless," an HOUR LONG drama project about a girl born without the gene for fear.Based on Francine Pascal's series of young adult novels, "Fearless" revolves around Gaia Moore, whose mom was murdered and whose antiterrorist operative dad is in hiding. Her genetic mutation and special training make her a superhero of sorts, but she's also just a high school student, a la early "Buffy the Vampire Slayer ( news - Y! TV)."
the WB is targeting the series for next fall.Reuters/Variety

hopefully, they won't screw it up. i'd like it if they used the model, but it's not likely :(

Hey guys,

I already typed this once, but my computer is freaking retarded. NEwho so I'll do it again. I started reading Fearless a couple of years ago (1-10) and then I went off to college and got too busy to keep up w/ the series. So I've been off for a month from school for Christmas break and I decided the other day to start up again. 15 books have been released since then, sheesh! So in the last 4 days, I've been to Barnes & Nobles 4 times; each time I've bought 2 or 3 of the books and gone home and completely absorbed them w/i a couple of hours. I think the lady at the B&N checkout counter thinks I'm deranged. (I just finished 21 and am going back to the bookstore tomorrow to get 22 and 23. Gotta wait til I get paid to get the other two...sad, eh?) I'm glad I finally found some other Fearless fans; I knew the Net was my only hope. I mean, I'm 20 years old and reading a teen series. None of my friends even know about it. lol And Becca, I've noticed about the typos, too. So you're not the only anal one around here. ;) Take care everyone and I'm looking forward to chatting w/ y'all.

Okay, these are some of the things that just BLOW MY MIND in these books:
1) That Tom met Gaia's mom 3 different places:
Tom story #1- Met in NY bookstore
Tom Story #2- met in Moscow bookstore
Loki story- brought her home for a holiday
2) That Sams ex-roomie, Brenden, Bret, whatever, was suddenly realated to Mary after she died
3) that josh has two different last names (Kendell and some other one that Heather knows him by)
4) That in book 6, the sex ring one, ROMEO is the guy, he has him own "journal entry", you know? well, the first entey is written in 3ed person, and the rest in first.
Just some funny things!!!
oh, yeah, 5) the newer the book, the more typo's!!

Hi. I just came accross your site here, and I wanted to tell you the news! Fearless has... 25 books out now, 26, 27 and 28 on the way! Plus another Specail addition and 3 (or 4?) Double Editions (2 books in one). I'm on book 22. They're soo good, but they are getting boring at spots. Whatever I did I couldnot get into #21, but it was great in the end!

There Is going to be a fearless TV show. go to Sci-Fi.com, you know the channels official website or go to, simonsays.com, enter francine pascal, find the upcoming book from her called "Lost" (fearless #25) click it. scroll down 'till you find a review thing from aynonomis, and what they wrote about the TV thing is strait from Sci-Fi channels official site. It's going to be on the WB, but you won't find any info on it yet on there site, it's scheduled to come out in the fall 2003 season.

I've read all of the books in the series, and am axiously awaiting # 25 (Lost). I've heard rumors about a new TV show on the WB possibly airing in Fall '03... does anybody know if this is true or not, and if it is where did you find this out? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks! :)

The next three books:#23:Fear,#24:Betrayed,#25:Lost.Then there's something that's called "Bind-up Special Edition 1".Don't get your Loomies in a twist most fans believe it's NOT the end of the series (note the number "1")but a compilation of a few previously published books.Also if anyone is looking for some Fearless junkies to talk to you really should join the Yahoo! group Fearless2.We really are quite active (lots of Ed-lovers!).Last of all you should take a looksie at my site,Gaialess,which includes an awesome gallery with NEW pictures,many foriegn bookcovers,manipulations and wallpaper.In the a week or so there will be a special section up for speculation on just who exactly that covermodel is (there's been LOTS of speculation).Keep in mind I'm still under construction.Thanks.
