So what? Not buying on a particular day won't do a thing. What counts is the balance between per year wanting to buy, versus per year wanting to sell. Obviously there are too many people wanting to buy that causes the price to rise. It's a simple Economics 101 problem.
..... Use bicycles instead of petroleum products, but if you therefore will eat more, then expect food prices to increase as a result.
