(definition of) "vapor" (Webster's 1828 Dictionary) - "Something - fleeting or transitory".

"transit/transitory" (Web 1828) - "A passing; a passing over or through / Continuing a short time."

"fleeting" (Web 1828) - "Passing rapidly; flying with velocity."
