One of the most expected events of the Miss Universe 2009 schedule took place today: The Swimsuit Show, sponsored by BSC Swimwear took place at the Our Lucaya Resort in Grand Bahama this Sunday.

The place, beautifully decorated, welcomed the 84 contestants who paraded in their bikinis and showing off their toned bodies and runway skills in front of a lucky audience.

The contestants were divided in 7 groups of 12.

And the winners were:

No one! There was no competition and no judges. It was just a swimsuit presentation for the attendants and the TV audience to get to know the contestants better. The event, which was shown live on Channel 13, was abruptly interrupted to present the 7 pm news.

But as an interesting anecdote, endless “top 5 lists” were leaked on the internet even before the event was over. Do not worry, all those lists are bogus.
