• We have reviewed the pictures of all the winners and they had only very light makeup on. This is allowed because stage lighting makes children look very pale. The girls with heavy makeup did not win. Points were deducted for this as was stated in our rules. Beauty was only 10 points out of 50. We also scored on modeling, poise, interview and stage presence. Please call us at 501-366-0268 and we will be happy to talk this over with you. • My daughter has been in some glitz and glamour pageants. The winners Saturday wern't glitzy and I'm kinda glad that they didn't win and the pageant that we entered up held what the rules stated, I was alittle worried. We had such a great time Saturday and the staging was by far better than most 3 level pageants systems. Thanks for giving our girls the chance to feel great. Some pageants just stick a few plants out and thats it. Once agian thank you and we will deffinantly see ya'll again. To all of those who want to do a great pageant this is the one to do. • Thanks ladies - it's so great to know that our hard work was appreciated. I can't tell you how long it took us to put that staging together. We got home at 4AM and had to be back at 9AM! But hearing that you guys loved it makes it all worthwhile!! Again, thanks and we can't wait to see you all again!! • We were in the pageant Saturday, and you are right. The stage area was awesome. We have done a pageant at the same location and you guys knocked it out of the water. We have done the glitz and glamour pageants and it is easier to deal with the wiglets. However, I loved the natural system ( even though we were having a bad hair day) and had a great time. Dressing area was great also, better than most. Crowns were better than most we have seen! Good job, we will do it again!! • I agree with the above. The stage was awesome! Definately better than most state. The pageant was everything it stated it would be. If you read your paperwork, everthing was laid out on expectations and what to do. Some pageants state one thing, and the judging does go as stated. We were happy that judging was consistent with the paperwork, and had a wonderful time. Everyone was so nice and the hospitality tray for the contestants was great ! We love the crown and sash pin and will most definately do another pageant with this system. • First of all let me agree w/ the previous posters about the staging, it was one the the best we've seen. "Kudos" to the Once Upon a Time" team. Secondly, thanks to "The Team" for being so available to answer questions and concerns. When Lindsey and I talk about doing new pageant systems, the way a director interacts with us is always a big factor. So, again, thank you for being so thoughtful and considerate. Now to "natural" pageants. When my daughter started competing, it was definately a learning experience. Even though we did learn that natural meant light makeup due to the harsh stage lights. I hope the moms that felt misled try this system again. All of our daughters are naturally beautiful, but under those lights, we just enhance their beauty.
