Cecilia,

For sure you are not alone. The key word for what you said is to be open-minded. It is easy to observe teachers that have been teaching for the same way, using the same exercises for the past years and are very reluctant to make any change. As teachers we should keep always trying to learn, to improve ourselves.

We must consider that our students are different from the ones in the past; they have different needs, different difficulties.

By being better teachers we can help them to improve their learning. We are in the right way. We are studying, changing experiences and for sure this will reflect positively upon our teaching.
